November’s restaurant openings include many international flavours, preceding December’s less exotic Turkey Takeover.

The recent bout of Asian restaurant openings in London — Wazen and CôBa in King’s Cross, Brick Lane’s Fold and Mayfair’s Sexy Fish — will be strengthened by a second wave of newbies this month. Vietnamese Pho & Bun is coming to Shaftesbury Avenue, Indian Darbaar is arriving in the City and pan-Asian fast-casual eatery Yum Som is heading for Leadenhall Market.

In King’s Cross a former 18th Century German gymnasium will become a vast labyrinth of an all-day café, restaurant and bar. And in Soho, Zelman Meats is opening where Rex & Mariano used to stand.

London’s smaller chains are going strong, too. The Ivy, quiet for so long, continues its 2015 expansion with The Ivy Café Marylebone, while the second Foxlow to open this autumn arrives in Balham.

Scroll through the photo gallery above for details of all the best restaurant and bar openings in November.
