December is a rare quiet month for restaurant openings in the capital as the dining scene is disrupted by Christmas festivities and Londoners leaving the city’s bright lights behind for holidays and families.

In fact, restaurateurs rarely plan to open restaurants in December and it is likely that launches this month have fallen victim to delays. Nevertheless, they will push on and open before Christmas.
