London Cocktail Week 2012
A reason to get excited about autumn in the city? Tickets are now on sale for London Cocktail Week 2012.
This year, Covent Garden's Seven Dials village will form the hub of this week-long celebration of our capital's cocktail culture, hosting seven days of sumptuous tastings, pop-up bars, seminars, master-classes and parties dedicated to all things bibulous.
Buy a wristband for just £4 to qualify for £4 cocktails and entry to more than 100 participating venues from grand hotel bars, elusive speakeasies and exclusive members clubs for starters.
Other treats in store include the Mad Men Marathon at the Roxy Bar & Screen, a rum and ice-cream shack and regular cocktail tours between pop-ups.
No drink-driving will be necessary as almost everything will be within staggering distance and a free bus service will ferry the merry to watering-holes in Shoreditch, Fitzrovia and Notting Hill.
Anyone wishing to participate must register online first and think up a good excuse for the hangover if you’re living it up on a school night!
